2009 Criteria
- Applicant must be a High School Senior planning to pursue a higher education at a 2- or 4-year college, university or technical school.
- Applicant must have a grade average of 82 or better for 3 years and be in good standing at current high school.
- Applicant must have demonstrated community service experience.
- Applicant must be of good moral character.

Application that described key accomplishments in:
Academics, School Activities, Service to Others/Community Service/Volunteerism, Athletics, Leadership Abilities, Additional accomplishments - Transcripts from 3 years and first semester of senior year.
- A 250-word essay.
- At least one personal recommendation from a teacher, coach, guidance counselor, advisor, community service organization or employer.
