Cabot at Yarmouth Clam Festival

Cabot at Yarmouth Clam Festival

Cabot® to Offer Free Tastings of Award-Winning Vermont Cheddar Cheeses at Yarmouth Clam Festival

Cabot is also providing 200 pounds of butter to the 3-day event.

Festival-goers at this year’s Yarmouth Clam Festival, will have an opportunity to try Cabot® award-winning Vermont Cheddar Cheeses, including extra sharp, pepper jack, horseradish and 50% reduced fat cheddars. Cabot’s cheese sampling booth will be located next to the Chamber of Commerce Office at 162 Main Street on Friday and Saturday, July 16 and 17, from 10AM to 4PM.

Cabot Cheddar is naturally aged and has been honored with nearly every major award for taste – both nationally and around the world. Cabot Creamery was the first in the world to create 50% and 75% reduced fat cheddars and introduced the first all-natural slices for the dairy case. A full 100 percent of the brand’s profits are distributed to the farm family owners of Cabot Creamery Cooperative each year.

Butter Makes it Better

Cabot is also providing 200 pounds of its farm fresh butter to accompany the 6,000 pounds of clams expected to be served during the 3-day festival. 2010 marks Cabot's fourth year as a sponsor of this fundraising event that features food, entertainment, carnival rides, competitions, and arts and crafts.
