Maine McDonald's All-Star Basketball Games
Plan
To plan an annual event to build a positive image for McDonald’s restaurants in Maine; to highlight McDonald’s 20th year anniversary of sponsorship for the basketball tournament; to increase the bottom-line donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Maine; and to generate PR opportunities in advance of and throughout All-Star Weekend.
The Maine McDonald’s® High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games salutes to top senior student-athletes basketball standouts and coaches from across Maine. More than 100 individuals are honored for their achievements at the All-Star Banquet and at the Games. Net proceeds from the two-day event go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities ® of Maine.
In 2009, Rinck launched a website to help promote the event and streamline the player registration process.
